About Hannah

Hannah Basch-Gould is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist working with adults and couples in New York and Connecticut.

She integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy with holistic approaches like mindfulness, and evidence-based techniques like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients understand difficult patterns in their lives and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

She has experience working with patients from all walks of life, and specializes in the treatment of individuals in emerging adulthood.

Hannah received her Bachelor’s Degree from James Madison University, and her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. She completed her postgraduate training at The Fifth Avenue Counseling Center in downtown Manhattan, where she now trains and supervises student clinicians.

My style is warm, interactive, and direct. I specialize in helping clients navigate issues related to:
